QUICK TIP: Beach Bar And Grille At Campus Martius Opens Tomorrow (May 1)

You are here: Home / Lifestyle / QUICK TIP: Beach Bar And Grille At Campus Martius Opens Tomorrow (May 1)

Apr 30, 2015 by Daily Detroit Staff

Campus Martius Park has been lauded multiple times for its design and benefit to the community, but one of the more fun things that goes on there is the beach that’s in the heart of the city.

The Beach Bar and Grille, according to a couple of sources (as well as a pretty obvious piece of signage in the middle of the park), will be opening tomorrow and unlike today’s rain, tomorrow should be perfect for a cocktail with some sand with the weather to be an expected 71 degrees and mostly sunny.

This year’s menu, according to their website, focuses on Bao Tacos which is a taco on a bun, as well as your selection of beach-y drinks. Happy hour runs from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. and hours, weather permitting are:

Monday – Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Friday – Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Warm weather, how we have missed you. See you on the beach.
