Detroiters love their cars, but it’s no secret that the process of buying a car is dreaded experience for most people.

CAR.SHOW aims to make car buying better and more fun.

More than 50 makes  and  models will be on display and are representative of  over  50% of new car sales for model year 2015. The idea is to provide brand choice and selection in one place, instead of driving to a bunch of dealerships and going through all the hassle. Once you’ve found what you like, you can directly connect with a dealer to make the car purchase.

During its development, the company behind CAR.SHOW, Detroit Trading, spoke with more than 5,000 car shoppers per day through its more well-known call center, 1-800-CAR-SHOW.

“Car shoppers want one destination where they can see, feel, and smell top-selling vehicles in a single setting,” said Mark Campbell, CEO of Detroit Trading.

The press preview materials have been pretty interesting, even though it’s still in the early stages, and we’re curious to see how this possibly industry-changing thing is going to come together – and so can you on Sunday. The preview is free and open to the public in Eastern Market in Shed 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
