Play episode

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, and have a hankering for Polish food then you need to check out the St. Florian Strawberry Festival.

There will be plenty of Polish food for purchase, and tons of strawberry desserts.

As with most festivals there will be a raffle and a tin can auction. If you have kids, there will also be things for them to do as well.

Because St. Florian is the Patron Saint of Firefighters, there will be a Firefighter March and Mass on Saturday.

The march starts at the Hamtramck Fire Department and will end at St. Florian. The march begins at 3:30 p.m and the mass will start at 4:00 p.m.

If you have ever wanted to take a tour of St. Florian you are in luck, because they will be offering tours of the church on Sunday.

The Strawberry Festival will take place on Saturday, May 6 from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 7 from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

St. Florian is located at 2626 Poland Street in Hamtramck.
