I hope your Thursday night is free, because there are plenty of great options for you to choose from.

Drinks x Design: Branding

The folks over at Detroit Creative Corridor Center (DC3) are back with another installment of Drinks x Design. This month the focus will be on branding.

There will be designers from Who’s That, RL Concetti, Blended Collective, Trichomatic Studio, Design Source Media, Three Lyons Creative, Langdon Media Group.

There will also be a special announcement from DC3.

Worth Listening To

Looking for something to do on International Women’s Day this Thursday?

The Detroit Local lulumon will be hosting an event called Worth Listening To in Eastern Market.

The event will feature a panel with Candice Simons, Leah Vernon, Chris Letts, Nicole Denson, and Kacy Johnson and it will be moderated by Alyonka Larionov.

They will be speaking about the work that is being done to make sure that all people are being treated with their full potential.

Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will go to the luluemon Here To Be program.

Networking for Introverts

Networking is tough for those of us who are an introvert. Trust me, I know first hand.

TechTown has your back though.

They will be hosting Networking for Introverts on Thursday, March 8. It’ll be part workshop, part network gathering.

Colleen Cartwright from Matrix Theatre Company will be on hand to help teach everyone some techniques to get you through a networking event.

This event is free.

Network 217 Kick-off Event

Network 217 is a new career resource group for women and they are throwing their first event on Saturday, March 10.

SBM Meet and Greet in Ferndale

Are you a Paralegal or Legal Assistant? Then I have an event for you.

The State Bar of Michigan Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section will be hosting an event next Tuesday, March 13.
