Detroit’s Buses To Get More 24-Hour Service & Wi-Fi. Here’s The List Of Public Hearings To Have Your Say.

The Detroit Department of Transportation will have a series of public meetings to share details and gather feedback about changes it plans to make to DDOT bus service starting in September.

That is when DDOT says it plans to start rolling out improvements to its 10 24-hour bus routes including Wi-Fi service, upgrades to bus stops, improved buses, and easier fare payment.

DDOT has added 10 24/7 routes since 2016 and added six new express routes to connect neighborhoods with employment centers in downtown and Midtown.

The twice-a-day meetings start this week and continue the week after the July 4th holiday. Here’s the list:

June 26
