Play episode

The city of Warren says they’re working to combat a rat problem along the freeway that the city says is caused by construction.

The city says that since April they’ve deployed 128 traps along the fence line of I-696 at a cost of $125,000.

A contractor is checking the traps every two weeks along the six mile stretch.

Warren is also sending residents new 90-gallon trash cans so that residents’ trash is contained.
