# 2016 Hatch Detroit Winners Meta Physica To Open In Corktown Tuesday

If you are in need of a bit of self care, I have some great news for you.

[Meta Physica Wellness Center](http://www.metaphysicamassage.com/?ref=dailydetroit.com) will open on Tuesday, March 20.

The wellness center in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood will offer a full range of massages, full-spectrum infrared saunas, acupuncture and a raw juice bar.

Eventually, Meta Physica will add community workshops that focus on wellness and health.

The co-owners of Meta Physica Wellness Center, Jenaveve Biernat and Anahi Hollis won the 2016 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest. They ended up taking home the grand prize of $50,000\. They used the money to open this new location.

Meta Physica will have an open house on Tuesday, March 20 from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4:00 p.m.

To celebrate the grand opening there will be free chair massages, raw juice samples, facility tours, snacks and music throughout the day.

*Hours: Monday 12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.*
