# Changes Coming To Tigers TV Booth As Impemba & Allen Are Out

The Detroit Tigers will have a new TV broadcast team next season. Both Mario Impemba and Rod Allen have not had their contracts renewed following reports of an altercation last month after a game in Chicago against the White Sox.

[The Detroit News cites](https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2018/10/09/mario-impemba-and-rod-allen-wont-back-tigers-tv-booth/1583978002/?ref=dailydetroit.com) inside sources saying that Impemba made $500,000 a year and Rod Allen about $350,000.

Allen and Impemba have had a contentious relationship off the field and were suspended following the incident in Chicago. The pair had been the Tigers second-longest lasting broadcast team, with more than 2,000 games under their belts. 

There’s no word from either the Tigers or Fox Sports Detroit about who will replace them.
