Via Washington Post – “I don’t want to say it’s back to the future, but when you see all this excitement, you can imagine what this place was like in the ’50s,” Childs, chief operating officer of the nonprofit organization behind the streetcar, M-1 Rail, said in an interview. “This by itself isn’t going to turn the city around, but it is one big part of the puzzle.”
