# Gordie Howe Public Visitation Will Be Tuesday At Joe Louis Arena

On Friday, [hockey and Red Wings legend Gordie Howe](https://www.dailydetroit.com/2016/06/10/goodbye-thank-mr-hockey/) died at the age of 88\. Funeral arrangements have now been made available.

A public visitation is planned for this Tuesday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Louis Arena.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. the next day, Wednesday, at Detroit’s Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
