# WATCH: John Oliver Breaks Down Flint And The Danger Of Lead Like Only John Oliver Can

With a little help from his friends on Sesame Street, HBO’s weekly TV show, “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” spent nearly 20 minutes dissecting the Flint lead situation, as well as America’s lead problem, in his signature style of part comedy and part explainer.

He breaks it down that it’s not just lead pipes – but more than 2.1 million U.S. homes have lead dust and children under 6\. But, until now, there hasn’t been much desire to take action.

Here’s an infographic from Bridge Magazine that shows you the zip codes that have higher levels of lead in children than Flint. The areas in red had 5% or more children test with elevated lead levels, higher than Flint.

“Last Week Tonight” airs at 11 p.m. on Sundays on HBO.
