# Michigan Honda Dealership Calls Out Panhandler, Sign Goes Viral

A car dealership in Brighton has heads turning in traditonal and social media around town thanks to a provocative sign that calls out a local panhandler.

[Brighton Honda](http://brightonhonda.com/DealerProfile?ref=dailydetroit.com) is at 8294 Grand River, near a busy intersection and close to the ramp for I-96.

The sign reads:

> “Please do not give anything to this panhandler. We offered him a fulltime job at $10.00/HR. He said: ‘I make more a day than any of you’ and he did not want a job.”

**UPDATE, 4:30 p.m.: [According to WXYZ](http://www.wxyz.com/news/brighton-panhandler-who-refused-job-offer-and-son-arrested-for-vagrancy?ref=dailydetroit.com)**, the panhandler and his son have been arrested for disorderly conduct and vagrancy. The son apparently was “impeding traffic” and intoxicated.
