# Need A Job? Check Out The City Of Detroit Job Fair This Week

We’ve noticed an increase in the number of job fair events recently, which is a promising sign for folks in the market for their next big opportunity.

If you’ve been thinking about working for the City then check out this fair, which features nearly 200 open positions waiting for excellent applicants to apply.

Many of the jobs are related to outdoor work in the city’s General Services Department, so if you want to explore what’s possible in the field, here are a couple sample opportunities.

Vehicle Operators—$11.78 – $14.82 / Hour

Laborer A /Park Maintenance Helper—$9.64 – $12.86 / Hour

Candidates will be interviewed on site and staff will be available to assist with the application process.
