# The New Under Armour Store In Downtown Detroit Has An Opening Date

It looks like we officially have an opening date for the new Under Armour Detroit Brand House located downtown.

We [reported](http://www.dailydetroit.com/2016/11/20/armour-open-two-story-store-across-old-hudsons-site-detroit/) about the new location back in November of 2016:

> Under Armour often sells at other retailers, but this Brand House concept is region-specific (expect a lot of local sports team gear) and has a lot more than the training apparel they’re known for. Brand Houses in other cities also include fishing and hunting gear, running and basketball sneakers, and, [according to the Baltimore Sun](http://www.baltimoresun.com/business/under-armour-blog/bs-bz-under-armour-retail-20150321-story.html?ref=dailydetroit.com), a fitness tracker “wearables bar.”

Daily Detroit confirmed the two story store located at 1201 Woodward Avenue (Woodward and State) will open on Thursday, April 13.
