If you are into vinyl then you probably already know this. Instead of doing a regular old list of area record stores I thought I would change things up a bit. This year I wanted to know what people’s ultimate Detroit album is. The quintessential album that speaks to them on a personal level. The musical legacy that Detroit has means that there are so many avenues one person could take. So I drove to a few record stores around the area to ask. This question caught a few people off guard, while others knew right away. Choosing an album on the spot can be tough, because music can be so subjective. But I think we have a pretty nice list to start out with. What are you thoughts? ### **1\.
