# The Area Burned By The Camp Fire In California Is The Size Of 1.5 Detroits

California is suffering the most deadly and devastating wildfire in the history of the state right now.

One of those is the Camp Fire. On a path to possibly be contained sometime by the end of the month, the fire has claimed 42 lives, burned 117,000 acres and destroyed the city of Paradise.
