Here’s a hint: Everyone seems to be talking about them.

No, it’s not Faygo. Or Carhartt, or coney kits. Or any of the older Michigan brands. Or cars.

It’s a relative newcomer to the Detroit scene.

According to Google Trends and [Vox.com](http://www.vox.com/2015/11/27/9801274/black-friday-shopping-map?ref=dailydetroit.com), Shinola watches are the most-searched shopping item from November 16 through 23.

Nationally, it’s not accessories like watches but boots and shoes that have the most interest, followed by clothes.
