Labor Day weekend is upon us, which means we will soon be inundated with all things pumpkin spice.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret about myself. I’m not a fan of the pumpkin spice life, give me hot apple cider any day of the week.

Seeing as Autumn is soon upon us, we wanted to give you a rundown of fifteen orchards and cider mills around Metro Detroit.

Macomb County

Blake’s Apple Orchard

When you think of apple orchards in the tri-county you Blake’s is probably the first one that pops into your head. Between Blake’s Cider Mill, Blake’s Big Apple and the Almont Garden Center there are plenty of chances to pick up your apple cider (both leaded and unleaded) and donuts.
