On Tuesday, February 17th, team members of KIND, the company behind the popular line of health-conscious snacks, will perform 24 random acts of kindness across the Metro Detroit area.

They will begin the day at 8 a.m. at the Rosa Parks Transit Station, where they will hand out hats and gloves to commuters waiting for the bus. Afterwards, the KIND team will head over to Starbucks and Biggby Coffee locations to warm up and buy everyone in line a cup of coffee.

Around lunchtime, the group will pass out hand warmers to people in Campus Martius, and later in the afternoon they’ll help combat hunger by dropping off KIND bars Metro Detroit soup kitchens.

Other activities planned during the team’s 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. kind mission around Detroit include paying the bill for a random table at lunch, placing inspiring notes on cars, and thanking cross walk attendants for keeping children safe.

KIND, started in 2004, is known for its healthy snacks, but the company also strives to improve local communities through its KIND Movement and KIND causes initiative. For more information, visit http://www.kindsnacks.com/.
