One of the things we’ve found over the years is that Detroiters love to mix a good time with a good cause.
So when this came across our desk, we thought we’d share.The Balloon Hullabaloo is a charity bar crawl in Detroit. 100 percent of all the ticket sales go to help Humble Design and families who have recently left homeless or abuse shelters by providing furniture and hope in their homes.

The crawl is July 15 and everyone who comes will get a giant balloon that they’ll be able to take with them through various venues – how fun!
Stops include The Skip Bar in The Belt, Cheli’s and Campus Martius. It starts and ends at The Belt, so there will be easy parking at the Z lot.
“It’s gonna be a great time for a great cause! At the event everyone get’s a giant balloon, and every balloon we raise helps Humble Design keep doing what they do and uplifting families in Detroit,” said Johnny Michael, event organizer.
