Cabela’s is opening their fourth store in Michigan and first in Metro Detroit.

The new 90,000 square foot store that focuses on outdoor sports and goods will be in Chesterfield Township, Michigan. The new location will open on Thursday, Aug. 3.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will include the ribbon being cut by an arrow shot from a bow by an employee of the store.

The Chesterfield Township store will include an archery and firearm tech room, indoor archery range and Bargain Cave, along with a product assortment specifically tailored for the region with locally relevant equipment. There also will be educational seminars on outdoor activities and the products they sell.

It’ll be located near the intersection of Hall Road and I-94 at 45959 Towne Center Boulevard.

The store brings 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs, most coming from Macomb County and the surrounding area.

The Chesterfield Township location will become Cabela’s fourth store in Michigan. There are stores also in Dundee, Saginaw and Grandville.
