Ferndale Vintage Fashion Market — Friday — Sunday — Ferndale

This Friday through Sunday stock up on great vintage apparel that will have you looking slicker than your grandparents in their heyday this holiday season.

At the Ferndale vintage fashion market, you enjoy three days of shopping with the best vintage apparel vendors Metro Detroit has to offer, all one roof at the Rust Belt Market in Ferndale.

Best Damn Apple Cider Walk Through Bar — Saturday — Detroit

Friday through Sunday join the Best Damn Ale beer company for the final weekend of their Best Damn Apple Ale walk-through billboard bar in Corktown. That’s right, the bar is actually in the Billboard, and you can swing through and try the new Best Damn Apple Ale, which is being premiered in Detroit.

You’ll enjoy live music from Detroit musicians Greater Alexander and Kysia, as well as a host of other great activities. All proceeds from the beer sold at the event will go to support the Eastern Market Corporation.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and Saturday from 2 p.m. — 10 p.m.

Bonobo DJ Set at Populux — Friday 9 p.m. — Detroit

On Friday night, head over to Populux in midtown for a very special event, as world renowned artist, Bonobo, stops through Detroit to perform a rare DJ set.

Bonobo, also known as Simon Green, has developed a unique sound combining elements of electronic and acoustic instrumentation, to create a compelling collection of music for well over a decade. Now you can catch him in a solo DJ performance, spinning a mix of original songs and remixes that will get you grooving. He’ll be supported by two more stellar electronic artists, Lusine and John Beltran, who will round out this killer night of music.

Small Victories: A Release Event With Flint Eastwood — Saturday — Detroit

On Saturday, party with one of Detroit’s most popular local artists, Flint Eastwood, as they celebrate the release of their latest release, Small Victories.

Flint Eastwood has built a growing national reputation for their outstanding live performances, selling out venues throughout Michigan and getting showcases at standout national events like CMJ, SXSW, Electric Forest, and more.

Flint Eastwood will premiere the new album alongside a supporting cast of friends including Tunde Olaniran, Seth The Syblyng, Passalaqcua, Britney Stoney, Bevlove, and more.

The show will take place in an unused warehouse across the street from Two James Distillery. It’s all ages and the doors at 8 p.m.

Sip, Savor, Stomp — Saturday — Royal Oak

Rounding out the trifecta of Saturday selections is the sip, savor, and stomp event at the Royal Oak farmers market. Event attendees will enjoy samples of over 150 delicious wines from across the state, country and globe.

In addition to the wine, you’ll be treated to a selection of fine artisan cheeses, chocolates, coffees, wine-inspired cuisine from area restaurants, and great live music.

General admission tickets are $45, which gets you in to the event, a keepsake glass, commemorative photo, and 15 drink sample tickets. If you want to upgrade your experience, VIP tickets are just $65, which earn you early access to the event, as well as the opportunity to try rare and limited wines, and five additional drink tickets.
