I hope that you all had a really great holiday season and that 2018 has started off well.
So far 2018 is going well for me, with the exception of this extreme cold weather. I don’t know about you, but I am chilled to by bones.
Stay warm out there you guys, it looks like we might get into the high 20s on Sunday. It’ll be a veritable heat wave.
Good Foot w/ DJ Jefferson

Senate Theater Silent Feature “It”
Before you get excited thinking this is Stephen King’s “It” his isn’t the “It” you might be thinking it is.
The Senate will be showing the 1927 film “It” featuring Clara Bow this Saturday night. John Lauter will be providing organ accompaniment on the Senate’s Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ.
Clara Bow was the quintessential 1920’s flapper and she is the inspiration for the term “it girl”.

Celebrate this first Sunday of 2018 with some killer brunch at the Two Way Inn.
This brunch is buffet style and will have a ton of great options. The Bloody Mary’s are no joke either.
If you have never been to the Two Way Inn you are in for a treat. The Two Way is the oldest drinking establishment in the city. The place is filled with history and cool people.

This Sunday is the first ever Bad Habit Bingo with the Motor City Sisters at The Hayloft Saloon.

Jazz Jam at the Music Hall Jazz Cafe
Spend part of your Sunday evening with the Scott Gwinnell Trio and young jazz musicians and singers at the Music Hall Jazz Cafe.
This Jazz Jam gives young jazz musicians an opportunity to get real world bandstand education in front of an audience.
This weekly jazz jam session happens every Sunday night at the Jazz Cafe.
These sessions are free to attend and also kid friendly.
