Have you ever thought about being a Detroit Police officer or a Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy?

Both the Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff’s office are currently hiring to add to their ranks, and to help that along they’re holding three events over the summer in the city.

WHEN AND WHERE:

The first one is this Wednesday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Samaritan Center. That’s 5555 Conner St. in Detroit.

Second event is at the Northwest Activity Center on July 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m at 18100 Meyers.

Third event is on August 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SerMetro. That’s located at 9301 Michigan Avenue in Detroit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have a high school diploma or GED with no felony convictions
  • U.S. citizen
  • 20/20 vision or 20/20 corrected vision.
