Detroit’s real estate scene is going to get some more TV airtime.

Whether it was the beautiful Ransom Gillis house in Brush Park that Nicole Curtis did, This Old House coming to a Northwest Detroit neighborhood, or now, the season premiere of House Hunters on Thursday night, the world is starting to get more of a look at what Detroit has to offer.

A couple will be torn between a historic loft in the heart of the city and an established walkable neighborhood outside the city, according to the HGTV listing.

The content of the show was actually filmed about a year ago.

Watch the show to learn insider tips about the pro’s ( and cons) of each location, and to see the difficult choices this couple face when deciding which loft to buy. And, let’s celebrate the fact that Detroit real estate is enjoying some very positive attention in the national media, thanks to HGTV, and The Loft Warehouse.

The show will air Thursday, June 30 at 10 p.m. and again that night at 1 a.m. as well as be available online here.
