Bring on three and a half feet of bacon, says Detroit-based Little Caesars. They’re rolling out a new bacon-wrapped crust deep dish pizza.
We included a pic above, but what is in this 8-corner pizza pie? There are two types of thick-cut bacon wrapped around a Detroit-style deep dish crust. It’s then topped with pepperoni and … you guessed it, even more bacon.
This new, “limited-time” pizza is an extension of Little Caesars popular DEEP!DEEP! Dish product – an eight corner, large pizza featuring a crunchy crust with caramelized cheese edges and topped with pepperoni and cheese.
“Little Caesars focuses on giving customers new flavors and choices at a great value and with the sense of fun we’re known for,” said Edward Gleich, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. “With the new Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish we’re pushing pizza to its bacon limits with more than 3 ½ feet of bacon wrapped around the crust alone. It’s unabashedly delicious. That’s why we like to say, ‘In Bacon We Crust!'”
This adds to their Hot-N-Ready line up of pizzas, and so the bacon wrapped versions will ready to from 4-8 p.m. and anytime upon request starting February 23 (this Monday) for $12.
