A 3.6 magnitude earthquake shook Detroit on Thursday night. The earthquake was centered near Amherstburg, Ontario according to the United States Geological Service.

Although rare, minor earthquakes do hit our region from time to time. According to Earthquaketrack.com, a couple very minor earthquakes have happened over in Canada just over the river in the past few years.

Here’s a shake map from the USGS:

As of this writing, there have been no reports of damage.

On Twitter, we sent out a call for reports of where it was felt. Here are few of the general areas.

The rocker had a show in town Thursday night at Little Caesars Arena.
