Who likes drinking? Great! Then you want to attend the Detroit Cocktail Classic, which is pretty much the cocktail party of the year. This is the place where Detroit’s most celebrated drinking establishments set up shop under one roof and show what they’ve got to bring glory to their home bars.

Last year’s lineup included representatives from Craft Work, Republic, and Two James.

Take advantage now of the event’s $25 Early Bird Special, because tickets go up to $40 after this weekend. One ticket is worth 15 drink samples and light appetizers. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3 from 7-11 p.m. at The Garden Theatre. Here are the full details regarding the invitation.

This year promises to feature over a dozen Detroit watering holes serving their signature craft cocktails. They are announcing full details next week with regards to the establishments and brands that will be involved. DJ Bertram Cooper will spin a combination of retro and new lounge tracks between sets.

Event creators Joe Robinson and Travis Fourmont have also successfully hosted drinking events in the past, including The Whiskey Rebellion, which just celebrated its third year.
