Every once in a while, something so ridiculously radical happens outside of the mitten that we feel compelled to share it.

One such occasion occurred today when we stumbled on this video made by Rockin’ 1,000 out of Cesena, Italy.

One thousand die hard Foo Fanatics shot this amazing group performance of the band’s hit, Learn To Fly, in an effort to convince the Dave Grohl and the all mighty Foos to play a show in their small town of just under 100,000 people.

Yes, we shared this because it’s flat out awesome, but we have another motive.

If you didn’t already know, on August 24th the Foo Fighters are making their much anticipated return to Michigan for the first time since 2011, and we thought this was just the thing to get you pumped for the show.

The August 24th concert at DTE sold out in seconds back in February, but for those lucky enough to snag a ticket – or rich enough to cover the absurd Stubhub prices – you’re in for the show of your life.

Grohl is still learning to walk again after his spectacular wipe out at a show in Sweeden last month, but in true Grohl form he has continued to play shows in the throne pictured above.

We can’t decide if we’d rather have the running, jumping Grohl we all know and love, or get a first hand look at that majestic throne!

Check the video out below, and best of luck to the people of Cesena!
