Want free pizza? Who doesn’t?

Well, here’s your ticket. Sicily’s pizza — they serve a New York-style pie — is giving away 100 twelve-inch pizzas on Tuesday, October 22.

This is to promote the launch of their new pizza, called “The Benchmark.”

Sicily’s says that the new Benchmark “sets the standard” for cheese pizzas (I see what they did there), but I’m sure we’ll be the judge of that when it comes out.

Sicily’s is down in Southwest Detroit at 3554 Vernor.

They make their dough fresh daily, using non-GMO flour for their dough, and their sauce is real tomatoes and basil instead of pre-made paste.

Here’s how it’ll work. Sicily’s will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22.

Each person in line that morning will receive a number to secure their official place in line and then will be given a medium Benchmark pizza at no cost. And it’s one free pizza per customer.

The deal is pickup only and limited to one pizza per person.
