Before she was the first female CEO of an automaker, Mary Barra rose through the ranks of General Motors from an Intern in 1980 all the way to the top seat.
In a nearly five minute piece, Jenna Bush Hager talks to Barra about women and leadership in typical morning show style.
Barra is currently advocating for more women at GM and is advocate of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) for girls.
General Motors is doing financially better than the dark days of the bankruptcy, and had a net revenue of $166 billion last year.
