The Scott Fountain has a long history. Recently, the lights came back on for the stately fountain on Belle Isle State Park. We stopped by yesterday and enjoyed the skyline and the peacefulness with quite a few fellow Detroiters who were out for the evening and figured we’d share a minute and a half of it with you.
If you want to see it for yourself, you’re in luck. This season, the state DNR has decided to keep it open and running past Labor Day, until September 20, 2015.
The team at Daily Detroit is taking Labor Day off, so we’ll see you on Tuesday.
