This weekend looks like there will be plenty of things to do along the Woodward corridor. Have a great weekend, and have fun in Ferndale, Birmingham, and Bloomfield.

If you have events in cities that touch Woodward Avenue, hit up our submission form.

Improv Comedy Games – Ferndale

If you are in the mood for some on the fly entertainment, I suggest making a plan to go to the Magic Bag on Friday night.

The Improv Comedy Games will be coming to town for one night, and will be performing their Wild N’ Out style improv games.

Tickets are $25 per person and I suggest getting them in advance.

Doors open at 8:00 p.m. The Magic Bag is located at 22920 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale.

Free First Friday at Cranbrook – Bloomfield Hills

If you haven’t been to The Cranbrook Institute of Science lately, I highly suggest heading up to the museum on Friday night.

Cranbrook Institute of Science is located at 39221 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills.

Ferndale Pride 2017

Happy Pride Month everyone! This Saturday Ferndale is celebrating the LGBTQ community.

There will be vendors, live music, The Natalie Cole Drag Show, DJ’s, and food trucks. (Plus all of the great stores and restaurants the are in downtown Ferndale.

Admission is free to the festival, and all ages are welcome.

Hours: 1:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m

Ferndale Pride takes place on West 9 Mile Road, Allen, and Troy streets in Downtown Ferndale. Carpooling is a smart bet because parking is going to be nuts.

All Female Stage Reading of Top Gun

Remember when Top Gun came out? Take my breath away.

Anyway, I think we all deserve to see an all female cast do a stage read of Top Gun. I didn’t even realize it was missing in my life, but now that I know it is a thing I can’t stop singing Danger Zone.

This is a one night only event, so if you snooze you loose. Tickets can be bought at the door.

The Ringwald Theater is located at 22742 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale.
