PODCAST: Dan Dickerson On The Cold Start To The Baseball Season, The Tigers In '68 And Now

The voice of the Detroit Tigers, Dan Dickerson, joined us on the Daily Detroit News Byte on Monday. You can listen on the player above. It’s cued up to where his interview starts.

Sven Gustafson caught up with Dickerson at the unveiling of the plans for celebrating the 1968 season half a century later. We talked about his memories as a kid during the ’68 season, the impact of cold weather on the MLB season and if the league should consider shortening it, and the prospects for the Tigers this season.

Of course, there’s more News Byte where this came from. Click here for back episodes and to subscribe in your favorite podcast player.
