In “really, this is happening?” news, it’s come to our attention that the Google listing for the Wyandotte Police Department has somehow been changed to the “Titty bar Police Department.”
Everything else — the reviews, the address — continue to be correct.
Google Business listings, if unverified and unclaimed, aren’t too hard to change.
We left a message with the Wyandotte Police Department, and talked about what happened with IT expert Tom Lawrence on the podcast today.
As a note, there are no strip clubs in the city of Wyandotte itself. So the police would have little competition in their new venture, if they chose to pursue it.
Today’s been a day of crazy internet things. Facebook had a mass outage across most of the east coast, including Detroit. It seems to be working again.
