“You only get one shot, do not miss your chance,” is not only part of an Eminem lyric, it also applies to this special way to support the youth programs at the Downtown Boxing Gym.

Now is your shot to win one of 10 already-sold-out Southpaw boxing gloves made by Title and autographed by Eminem by donating at least $10 to Downtown Boxing Gym, through the Marshall Mather’s Foundation’s Klickly crowdfunding campaign.

The grand prize winner gets a handwritten response to a fan letter from Eminem himself.

Donate by midnight 8/30/2015 to be included in the drawing. Winners will be contacted via email 9/9/2015.

Downtown Boxing Gym engages Detroit’s disadvantaged youths to become good citizens through rigorous boxing programs. They have about 65 children in the program, with 320 children on the waiting list.

They recently relocated to a 27,500 sq. ft. converted book bindery on Vernor Hwy. where they hope to include up to 150 students by 2017.

The world famous rapper is receiving renewed national attention for contributing “Phenomenal” and “Kings Never Die” to the Southpaw soundtrack. Southpaw is about a boxing champion with a happy life, who loses it all through tragic misfortunes and poor personal choices, but fights his way back to the top. The lead was offered to Eminem, but it was given to Jake Gyllenhaal instead because Eminem chose to give more attention to his album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” which was released in 2013.
