M-1 RAIL is moving full steam (or electric buzz) ahead, and the non-profit organization dedicated to the design, construction, and future operation of a 3.3 mile streetcar route has issued some request for proposals (RFP). The organization has asked specifically for RFPs from rail operations contractors and communications strategists.

Rail Operations Contractors

Operations contractors interested in submitting a proposal must attend the mandatory pre-propsal meeting on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 1pm-3pm EST. The meeting will take place at the M-1 RAIL office, 1426 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226.

Communications Strategists

M-1 RAIL is looking for consultants that can handle its communications needs. Areas that fall into this broad area are:

  • Media and community relations
  • Event support
  • Marketing
  • Communications strategy

Proposals should include the development of a communications plan.

Interested parties must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9 am. The meeting will be held at the M-1 RAIL office at 1426 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226.
