Capitol Park is getting a new restaurant from the folks behind Lover’s Only and Voyager. This time the trio will set their sights on breakfast.
Say goodbye to that sad packet of instant oatmeal from the bottom of your desk.
Iggy’s Eggies will offer those rushing off to work a chance to pick up a hot breakfast from its walk-up window located along Grand River. Diners will be able to grab breakfast essentials like breakfast sandwiches and sweet and savory grain bowls. The restaurant will also serve Roos Roast coffee.
“We’re energized to bring this little idea to life, as it’ll serve the downtown market nicely. The walk-up window was going to be used as an extension of Lovers Only, but we realized that quick, easy, delicious hot breakfast was something the area was missing,” said Restauranteur Eli Boyer.
Iggy’s Eggies will open at 8:00 a.m. throughout the work week.
Eventually the restaurant will offer online ordering and catering.
There is no official opening date yet, but Iggy’s Eggies should be open sometime in December. I’ll let you know when I find out more information.
