If there’s one thing you don’t do on the Internet in Detroit, it’s tease people with shawarma.
After a post from a Facebook group started spreading around thanks to hungry and excited Detroiters, Daily Detroit reached out to Bucharest Grill to confirm and possibly get additional details – and they said they could not confirm the rumor that the new Bucharest location at 19492 Livernois in Detroit was going to open tomorrow, Thursday June 8.
When reached for comment:
“We can not confirm that, we are close and working on it daily.”
When it eventually does open this will be the fourth location for the Detroit-based mini-chain of fast casual Romanian and middle eastern food.
There’s a location on Piquette, on Michigan, and on Jefferson in the city.
