Get out your calendars and check the date because the Detroit summer concert schedule has gained another big name to the list.

U2 will be coming to Detroit on September 3 and performing at Ford Field.

The band is currently on its “Joshua Tree” anniversary tour, and they have extended their tour to twelve additional cities.

Word is that ticket prices will start at $35 and go up to $70 for general admission floor tickets.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, June 12 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. There will be a six ticket limit for the general sale. Subscribers to U2.com will have the opportunity to get pre-sale tickets on Thursday, June 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. There is a four ticket limit for pre-sale.
