Yogurtopia’s menu workhorse is their self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings. We are really excited about their crepes, which are cooked made-to-order. We practically drool just thinking about their simple yet effective Lemon Drop crepe, a holy trinity of perfection with just powdered sugar, lemon and butter.

“Every item on the menu is made with whole, healthy ingredients and delivered at an affordable price,” said president and founder of Yogurtopia Sam Abbas. “Our frozen yogurt is packed with ten times the amount of probiotics found in other frozen yogurts; our smoothies are organic; our coffees are organic and fair-trade.”

The new franchise locations have been custom designed to fit the communities they serve. East Dearborn’s Yogurtopia is right in the heart of Dearborn’s Arabic retail district. They have a special Za’atar and Cheese crepe, which is a cool fusion treat. Za’atar is a dried herb blend mixed with sesame seeds and salt. It is very popular in Middle Eastern cuisine.

Yogurtopia opened its first location in West Dearborn in December of 2010. Yogurtopia has spread across
multiple cities and two states in less than three years. The East Dearborn franchise location is owned by Abir Mehanna and husband Haitham Mehanna of Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
