For starters, there’s a lot of Detroit-style pizza coming, with Shield’s Pizza coming to the Maccabees Building in the Cultural Center, Buddy’s headed downtown and newcomer Michigan & Trumbull headed closer to its ancestral home of Corktown from Pittsburgh, according to Eater Detroit. Devon and I also compare tasting notes on Mootz Pizzeria, the newest addition to the Z Garage/Belt Alley, which is serving up New York-style ‘za.
