There is something special about going to a legit butcher shop.

Sure, you can pick up some ground chuck at the grocery store, but sometimes you need to find a specific cut of meat that you can’t find at Kroger.

This is where Matt and Mike Romine come in. They opened the artisan butcher shop Farm Field Table last December.

The Ferndale based butcher shop specializes in meat from heritage whole animals from local Michigan farms.

Farm Field Table supplies meat to customers at their butcher shop, through their new online ordering system and also supply the meat to some of Detroit’s best restaurants like the Detroit Foundation Hotel, joebar, Takoi, and Voyager.

The butcher shop is doing so well that they are already looking at doubling their space in the New Year and will expand into existing warehouse space on Woodward Heights in Ferndale.

Hours: Monday through Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Thursday through Saturday 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Farm Field Table is located at 1030 Woodward Heights Suite B Ferndale, Michigan 48220
