Giraffe Born At The Detroit Zoo For Second Time In Two Years

The Detroit Zoo has a new baby addition – a female reticulated giraffe calf, born at 8:21 p.m. on August 6. The mom is 7 year old Kivuli following a 14-month gestation. A few days ago on September 20 the Detroit area welcomed our newest citizen, a giraffe.
