He Walks 21 Miles To Work Every Day. Let's Get Him A Ride.

Imagine if you had to walk to work today in this snow. No matter the weather conditions, that’s James Robertson’s reality.

Robertson was written about in the Detroit Free Press because he walks 21 miles a day in his commute from Detroit to his job in the suburbs. He is a hard worker who exemplifies the true grit and resiliency of Detroiters. Also, he lives in a city with a broken transit system and needs a car in order to get around.

Read his story and help him get a vehicle by contributing to his GoFundMe campaign by clicking here. In just a few hours, more than $21,000 has been raised on this campaign alone.

Although this helps James, long-term, we need a real mass transit solution in our region because it’s not just James who could use a hand up.
