Detroit is getting slightly more used to famous folks wandering through the city.
The latest is model Karlie Kloss, who took to her YouTube channel to highlight the city.
The 7 minute-plus video that “spends a day in Detroit” hits Detroit Blows (the blow out salon), the quickly growing StockX (the stock market of things in which Kloss is an investor), and stops through The Beach, a fun installation that was in downtown Detroit over the winter (which we visited on our show before).
Kloss also appeared on the most recent episode of the Speed of the Game podcast with Dan Gilbert, released before his stroke.
As a long-time Detroiter, I’ll say this — without scientific data, obviously — the number of people taking selfies has seemed to jump stratospherically in the last couple years.
