YoungLives Hosts Gala to Support Local Teen Moms

Looking for a fun date night idea that offers delicious food, dancing, raffles, and supports a great cause? Then mark your calendars for the YoungLives Dinner and Dancing Charity Gala on Saturday, April 9 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

YoungLives is an offshoot ministry of the YoungLife organization, a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to improving the lives of America’s youth. YoungLives focuses on helping teen moms overcome the stress of school and work and the challenge of parenting.

Through its Club and Camp programs, YoungLives pairs a young mom with a woman who acts as a mentor. Each mentor helps a girl navigate motherhood by providing encouragement and support in matters of faith, parenting, and self-worth. Mentors also help the girls set and achieve goals for themselves and their children.

The gala is being held at the Canton Summit in the Park Grand Ballroom, 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton 48188. Tickets are $104.94 each and include admission, drinks, and a strolling gourmet dinner. You’ll also have the chance to kick up your heels and dance as well as enter raffles for prizes.
