In case you’re looking for fun this Thursday night, over in Eastern Market’s Shed 3 you’ll find Barley, BBQ & Beats.
The evening event in its second year in Metro Detroit will have barbecue from 10 different places around town, craft cocktails from 13 distilleries and a lineup of three bands.
The bands are Drop 3rd Strike, the Killer Flamingos and SpaceCat.
It’s all to benefit Hospice of Michigan, a non-profit hospice provider and the state’s largest.
The money raised will support anyone who needs end-of-life care in Southeast Michigan, regardless of their ability pay. They have been holding events similar to this around the state for years.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased for $40 in advance here.
Admission increases to $45 at the door on the day of the fundraiser. Ticket holders will receive tokens for three servings of barbecue and three cocktails. Additional tokens will also be available on-site for $5 each.
