On Saturday, September 26 local rock band Critical Bill is hosting an all-ages, free show at Detroit Pub in Clinton Township with special guests Hell Rides North, Glen Meadows and Magnanomus & The Motor City Affiliates. Doors open at 8 p.m.

“It’s always special when we get to play in our hometown and since we got rained out for the Stars & Stripes Festival, we wanted to do a FREE event for everyone. We are going to give the fans a long set of classic Critical Bill songs, along with a ton of new material from the new CD “The New Eternal.” We’ve been waiting a long time to play here in Detroit and we will not disappoint!” said Mike Scott, guitarist for Critical Bill.

The band formed in 2002. The line up is rounded out with Powerdise on vocals, Phil Thacker on bass and Dan Lewis on drums. They’re are a long-time local music scene favorite with a unique sound that converges at the crossroads of powerful rap and hip hop beats with a heavy dose of dirty guitar rock.

The video for the first single from Critical Bill’s “Alone or Lonely” from the album “The New Eternal” features fans of the band who volunteered to be featured and share their personal one-word story, chosen by them. “The New Eternal” is available on iTunes.
