On Friday I had the chance to check out the newest store to open in New Center.
Ferne Boutique is a contemporary women’s clothing and accessory store.
When did flare jeans come back in style? I feel old.
Not only is there some really cute clothes, shoes, and hats.
There are some fun necklaces.
And mugs. I think I’m going to have get the treat yo self coffee mug.
Also, I absolutely love the sitting area in the front of the store. I wish I could take those floral chairs home.
This is the second location of Ferne Boutique for Horwath. Her first location is in Bay City.
Horwath is a Motor City Match Round 10 winner and received a $10,000 cash grant to help her open her new business. The program has helped 41 businesses open in the city.
Since the program was started it has granted $6 million in grants to new small businesses in the city, and has generated over $40 million in investment.
